EFUOLC
Strategies to Promote the Oral Use of Catalan
The project Strategies to Promote the Oral Use of Catalan Inside and Outside the Classroom in Schools across Catalonia (EFUOLC) aims to design, implement, and evaluate the TuCAT Programme, a professional development programme designed to promote the oral use of Catalan in early childhood, primary, and secondary schools across Catalonia. EFUOLC brings together lecturers, teachers, and researchers from the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) and the University of Barcelona (UB).

Funding
EFUOLC is a competitively funded research project supported by the Directorate-General for Innovation, Digitalisation, Curriculum and Languages of the Government of Catalonia.
The project was awarded funding through the 2023–2026 call for research grants supporting educational research projects in non-university education. More specifically, it was funded under Line A, which supports quantitative research based on experimental or quasi-experimental methodologies.
